Camp NaNoWriMo

After participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) last November, and successfully completing it, I am getting totally geared up and excited for Camp NaNoWriMo in August!  I have already thought up the “perfect” idea, developed some great characters, and laid out a plot outline!  It was great, in this process I have learned a new outlining technique that is amazing, it is called Note Card Plotting!!!  I think I will have to look at some more outlining techniques, after seeing how amazing and helpful that one was.

Anyone else joining me in the craziness of writing 50,000 words?  Head on over to Camp NaNo and sign up!  Let me know if you are participating, we can help keep each other going!!!

  1. Good job. 🙂 I did NaNoWriMo 2011 too, and it turned out really great… I ended up treating my novel like an outline, though, ’cause it sucked. 🙂

  2. Paulina, I was reading through mine later and thought it wasn’t so great, but then I learned I started the story in the middle of the book. I will be going back soon to try to write the beginning, but I came up with this great idea for August, that I just can’t wait to get started on! The great thing about NaNo is it helps get words on the page, the story can only go farther from there.

Terrii, my name is WhiteRavenSoars, feel free to look me up any time. It is just so exciting, this chance to get together with others and write freely and just see where a story can take us!
