Something that came to me tonight and I thought I would share.
Lost
Lost and alone,
broken and confused.
Hope abandoned,
emotions all skewed.
Looking for something,
not knowing what.
Scattered thoughts,
lost to the wind,
knowing that something,
is needed within.
Love and joy,
can’t be found.
Happiness fled,
sadness abounds.
Seeking, ever seeking,
searching without end.
Jumbled heart,
never to win,
trying to find,
lost hope again.
