Essence

This used to be just a place to keep the random bits of writing and stories I have, but I have grown and changed as is the way in life.  I have turned this place into a blog of reflection, wonder, challenge and journey!  That is what writing is all about after all.  It is a journey of where we are, where we have been, and the worlds we dream up.

Very recently I stumbled upon something, something so big it affected the very essence of who I am, how I see myself, and how I see others perception of me.  You may ask what it was, but it was simple really, it was a realization that to me, Writing is so much more than just a journey, it is Expression of our Souls and more than that, Writing is Ceremony!  I have always known and felt that words have/are power, but after watching a youtube video by Black Coffee Poet, I realized in his words was the answer to my vision of writing, what it meant to me, how I perceived it.  For that, I am eternally grateful to him!

   

   

     

After successfully completing NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNo, I made ML for NaNo in 2012.  Something I was extremely excited about!  From NaNo I have really increased how much I write.  It was during my foray into Camp NaNo, April 2013 that I decided that I would make this blog more.

This foray into the blogosphere has come with its own awards.  I am more than honored that others have enjoyed my blog and since I thought this was as good a place as any to share my accomplishments, I added those here as well.
